I'm not a big fan of "cloud" based storage. I tend to prefer to make my own storage solution. Over the years I've implemented several storage methods. Even though the files aren't under our complete control, I'm glad to see that such a large service provider is will to make a stand.

I was at first upset hearing about this and once I read through the whole thing, it actually made a lot of sense. Its something that companies should be doing, and not allowing these groups to put backdoors into their systems.
Cooperating is actually something that companies should be doing when dealing with investigations that have warrants. Pretty sure not cooperating is considered obstruction of justice...
There is no reason for a backdoor in any security system unless you want unfettered access to information your not privy to.
