This is one step, another would be to utterly require the destruction of all illegally collected information without just cause or warrant and force the NSA to reveal every single backdoor so that they can be removed from all systems immediately to improve overall security of our infrastructure, since, having those backdoors is REALLY bad.

I love the idea of destruction if illegally gathered data. I do question whether revealing publicly all known back doors will improve security or create a worldwide panic and scramble to apply patches. I think any backdoors should be eliminated first by any organizations that worked with the NSA to create the backdoors in the first place. Then they should disclose the backdoors that should then have been patched.
